President Ken Housfeld opened the meeting on time with 62 members and 5 guest. The Silver Quarter raffle was not won so will care over to the next meeting. Lee Sheppard won 12 tickets to the main raffle and Dan Foley as a guest won 6 tickets. Later that even he joined and became a member. The main raffle was won for the second month in a row by Bob Nelson. He's going to have quit a collection of gold coins. Second prize was won by Bobby Whitworth (me) also winning a gold coin. From Garys corner we learned that treasure has many form and can be had with out metal detecting. In old homes you can find cash hidden that old owners have long forgotten about. Find an old sucrets tin and who knows what you might find and don't forget to look between the mattress and box springs for a little extra cash or as Gary says his favorite place to find an old gold coin. I learned from Joy Walding that Aaron Metal has a great price for aluminum cans, currently at $1.96 per pound. I'm sure you can find others in whatever area of the bay you live in. Joy Walding is collecting pull tabs from aluminum cans. She is donating these to the Ronald McDonald House. Joy is also saving aluminum cans. No water bottles please.
